Also known as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), this is a tablet released in May 2012. It has no support for GSM communication, SSM or MMS and is especially appreciated for its long-lasting battery. Although a very good device, if you’re using it for more than 2 years, you’re most likely to have begun experiencing a few software-related problems.

If that’s your case or you simply forgot the password of the tablet, you might want to perform a hard reset on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3110. As you probably know, this procedure is entirely safe and also highly efficient in solving issues of this type. To understand how this works, though, it is important to know that the OS will be refreshed, while all data will be wiped down from the phone.
Running on Android OS v4.0.3, the operating system of this Samsung tablet can be upgraded to v4.1.1 – Jelly Bean. It comes with a dual-core 1 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM, while its total storing capacity can be of 8, 16 or 32 GB. Another interesting feature is its cameras – a 3.15 MP one in the back and a VGA camera on the front. The Wi-Fi 802 hotspot together with the Youtube, Picasa and Google Talk application make surfing the web at high speed possible.
RESTORING THE SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 2
You might have got used to doing a soft reset on similar tablets or phones. However, given that this one has a non-removable battery, you won’t be able to do so. There is no need to panic, though, because we have two other options that will certainly work for you. In both cases it’s recommended to make a backup of all data – this is because, as mentioned at the beginning of the article, all the files will be erased.
You can save everything using the well-known Phone Copy application or you can simply connect the device to another tablet or a PC. Using the last solution, all you need to do is create a new folder and transfer everything from pictures and music to videos and apps. Once you’re ready, you should be aware that the first method we’ll present is only suited for a functional tablet that still turns on and opens the main menu.
Please do the following to use this method:
Go to the Main Menu and click on the Settings icon.
Scroll down within the available option and select Backup and Reset.
On the bottom of the screen, tap Factory Data Reset and wait for the warning to appear.
Read all the information and make sure you understand, and then press Reset Device.
If necessary tap Delete All and allow your tablet to perform the reboot.
Since the first method required a working device, we also have an option for those whose tablet is entirely frozen. You should follow the instructions below for the factory restore:
Turn the tablet off and make sure it’s charged before starting.
Press the Power key and Volume Up button at the same time and wait for a vibration.
Release the Power key and keep holding Volume Up until the Recovery Menu appear.
Release that key as well and select Wipe Data using the Volume Down button.
Confirm all of your selections with Power; on the next screen select YES in the same way.
After tapping Power for the last time, allow a couple of minutes for the operation to end.

Forgot Windows 10 password on Samsung Galaxy TabPro S? How to unlock your tablet if you don't have a password reset disk? Galaxy TabPro S comes with 64-bit UEFI firmware, so here I'll demonstrate how to reset Samsung Galaxy TabPro S tablet password using a UEFI-compatible bootdisk - PCUnlocker Enterprise.
1Create A UEFI Bootable USB Drive
After losing admin access to your Galaxy TabPro S tablet, you need to use another PC to install PCUnlocker Enterprise onto a USB flash drive. Follow these steps:
Download the PCUnlocker Enterprise and save it to your desktop. Unzip the downloaded file and you'll get a CD image file called pcunlocker.iso.
Next download and install the freeware ISO2Disc. Run the ISO2Disc program, click on Browse button to select the pcunlocker.iso file, then choose your USB drive and select GPT partition style.
Click on Start Burn. A bootable PCUnlocker USB drive will be created in minutes.
2Reset Windows 10 Password on Samsung Galaxy TabPro S
Insert the PCUnlocker USB drive into your Galaxy TabPro S tablet and turn it on.
When you gets to the Windows 10 login screen, click the Power icon in the lower right corner. While holding the Shift key, select Restart. Next select Troubleshoot ->Advanced options ->UEFI Firmware Settings ->Restart. The tablet will automatically reboot into the UEFI firmware.
In UEFI/BIOS Setup, click the Boot option and then enter into Boot Device Priority. Select your USB drive from the Boot Option #1 drop-down list. Click Save and exit. Now your tablet will restart from USB drive.
After the PCUnlocker program launches, you'll see a list of Windows accounts existing on your Samsung Galaxy TabPro S. Select one of your accounts and click the Reset Password button.
This will remove your forgotten local password immediately. If you use a Microsoft Account for signing into Windows 10, the program will automatically switch your Microsoft account to local account, so you can regain access to your computer.
Restart your Samsung Galaxy TabPro S tablet and take out the PCUnlocker USB drive. Change the boot device priority back to hard drive. You can then log in to Windows 10 without typing a password!
